Cristian Chivu's representative has revealed that his client is currently mulling over whether to sign a new contract with Inter amidst interest from France, Germany and Spain.
The Romanian's existing deal with the Nerazzurri expires at the end of the season and the versatile defender has been linked with a move to Serie A rivals Napoli.
However, Chivu's representative, Victor Becali, has claimed that the 31-year-old centre-half's current contractual situation has also attracted attention from abroad.
"We met with Inter last week and we were offered a renewal," the agent told FCInterNews.it. "We discussed a two-year contract, with the option for a third year.
"We have been contacted by other clubs and there are offers for Cristian from France, Germany and Spain too.
“Therefore, if we don’t reach an agreement with Inter then we will know who to turn to as there is interest.
“We’ll give Inter a clear and precise answer in two weeks."
Chivu, who retired from international football last year, joined Inter from Roma in 2007 for a reported fee of €16 milllion.
