The 1st Endurance-CPK team captured the relay event in the Corporate division of the recently concluded Ironman Philippines in Cebu.
The team, comprised of Evan Uy (swimming), Warren Davadilla (cycling), Carlo Pedregosa (running), registered a time of four hours and 14 minutes to win the gold medal.
The team dedicated their win to the Cancer Kids of the National Childrens Hospital. Since 2010, the team has been raising support and awareness for NCH's "Ease the Pain Day" which provides medical supplies, regular children's parties, and fun activities for kids battling cancer.
"Our Triathlon team believes that the cancer kids are the true warriors and endurance champions who battle cancer everyday. That's why we, together with our partners 1st Endurance, CPK, Spyder, Century Bangus, Super 8, Regent Properties, Manila Hearing Aid, Esprit, PF Chang's, Newton Running Shoes, Runnr, SYA will always be there to support them," said team owner Richie Santos.
