Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that he would accept not scoring a goal for the rest of Euro 2012, providing Portugal win the tournament, following his country's 3-2 victory over Denmark on Wednesday.

The Real Madrid star missed a few chances, including a notable one-on-one which could have comfortably sealed the points when they were 2-1 up with just over 10 minutes to go, only to see Nicklas Bendtner equalise moments later before Silvestre Varela secured three points late-on.

"If I don't score a single goal and Portugal win the Euro I'll take that right now," Ronaldo said after the match.

"Yes, maybe I demonstrated I was angry at myself [after missing chances]. "I could have done better with the chances I had, but the important thing is that we are still in the race. Now we have to win our next match.

"When we were winning 2-0, we thought the game was practically in our hands. We had to score a third to kill off the game but we could not do it.

"We had a lot of difficulties but in the end we had the luck that we did not have against Germany, and we were able to win."

Portugal can confirm their place in the quarter-finals of the tournament with a win over Netherlands on June 17.
