Can I just say 11’4″ vertical reach? Third among all draft applicants. This fella can fly. And that is 5’9″ Justin Melton’s moneymaker – his insane athleticisim.
But if you think that that’s all this dude has, you’re wrong. In the ABL, Melton found his way with the big boys through his court vision. He was all-over the place on both ends, picking the passing lane and setting up his teammates. Then, occasionally, he’d drop in a couple of markers for himself.
I believe there should be a place of this little man in the PBA. He may not make immediate impact, but when he knocks the ball out of his man’s hands, sprints away in transition and throw down a mind-blowing two-handed reverse jam, just watch how wild the crowd goes.
