Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited (SCEH) Singapore Branch announced this week that “The Last of Us” will be remastered for PlayStation®4 (PS4™) and will be released this week while the Special PlayStation®4 Bundle Pack with PlayStation®4 One-Year Extended Warranty Service will be made available on 5th August 2014.

“The Last of Us” has garnered more than 200 awards throughout the world, most notably sweeping 10 awards, including the gaming industry’s top honor, Game of the Year, at DICE Awards. The game has also won “Outstanding Achievement in Videogame Writing” award from 2014 Writers Guild Awards, expanding its recognition outside of the gaming industry.

The remastered features include:

l 1080p
l Higher frames per second
l Higher resolution character models
l Improved shadows and lighting
l Improved level of details
l Extra episode DLC “Left behind” included
l Multiplayer map packs “Abandoned Territories” and “Reclaimed Territories” included
l Extra difficulty mode “Grounded” included
l Special commentary for all in-game cinematics from creative director and actors

They are also offering a special PS4™ Bundle Pack for users who haven’t had a chance to purchase PlayStation®4. Both Standard Edition and PS4™ Bundle Pack will come with in-game bonus contents for initial orders.
