Filipino basketball fans are going nuts after the NBA's Indiana Pacers and Houston Rockets landed in Manila this morning for the NBA Global Games 2013.

Fans got even more electrified as the Rockets' point guard Jeremy Lin tweeted about their arrival.

At around 5:00PM Monday afternoon, @JLin7 posted a photo of fans who greeted them at the airport and thanked them for a warm welcome.

The 24-year-old, who's back after suffering a chest injury earlier this year, said they went to a local mall before asking his followers for some local dining options.

"Checked out mall of asia and off to dinner! Suggestions?"

The question prompted a number of replies from Lin's followers, including user ‏@makulitnayogi who suggested the local favorite, chicken adobo.

The rest of the Rockets, led by Dwight Howard and James Harden, are in town for the first ever NBA game in the Philippines.

They'll be going up against the Pacers, whose president, the legendary Larry Bird also flew in for the historic match set on Thursday, October 10 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
