Mathieu Valbuena insists that there is no danger of France's Euro 2012 campaign being derailed by players frustrated by a lack of game time.
Jeremy Menez has already admitted that being restricted to the role of an understudy is difficult to get to grips with, but added that he has no intention of rocking the boat.
Valbuena has now echoed his team-mate's sentiments by explaining that while nobody wants to be left kicking their heels on the bench, every member of the squad has bought into the old mantra that the needs of the team must always come before those of the individual.
"Of course one prefers to start, and that goes for all of the players," the Marseille man is quoted as saying by RMC Sport. "But above all, we are living a human adventure.
"It is well known that in a competition like this, some players will play and others will not. It is just necessary to be ready when we are called; I think that 'ready' is the key word there.
"It's a competition and there are certain starters, but the situation could still change. Decisions may come from the bench. We will need everyone and it is important to always bear that in mind."
France, who opened with a 1-1 draw with England, must now take on Ukraine, who top Group D courtesy of their stirring 2-1 victory over Sweden.
