Chong He Biography
He is eager to defend the 3m springboard he won at the 2008 Olympics, and, given the fact he's also the reigning world champion in that event, it wouldn't be a surprise if he did just that. Though he'll be only 25 years old at the London Games, He boasts quite a list of career accomplishments. In addition to his Olympic gold - won against one of the most formidable fields in history - He is a two-time 3m springboard world champion (2009 and 2011) and a three-time gold medalist (2008, 2010, 2012) in the 3m springboard at the FINA Diving World Cup. He formerly competed in the 3m synchronized springboard, winning gold along with partner Wang Feng at the 2005 World Championships and the 2006 FINA Diving World Cup. He is known as the "King of Difficulty" for one of his dive's that carries a 3.9 level of difficulty. A diver since he was six, He lit the flame at the opening ceremony for the 2010 Asian Games.
