Mad Dash: Dodgers will still have Juan Uribe bobblehead night

Normally when players are traded away from teams, their subsequent giveaway night can be a bit awkward, and sometimes it's flat-out cancelled. The Dodgers are putting out a much different vibe for Juan Uribe's bobblehead night, slated for July 11 despite his trade to the Atlanta Braves. Uribe was a clubhouse and fan favorite for over four seasons in Los Angeles, and the Dodgers are honoring that time by using the night as a tribute to his time in Chavez Ravine. It's a pretty cool gesture, and pairs nicely with his short, but sweet, goodbye video to Dodgers fans.

If we're talking about NCAA golf teams on the Mad Dash, you know someone just put out a great trick shot video. It takes some skill to chip balls across the room and off walls into trash cans or buckets, but to do the same into small plastic cups is another feat altogether.

Manchester City has some of the best athletes on the planet on its roster, but their familiarity with baseball is lacking. In town for a friendly against Toronto FC, City players Joe Hart and James Milner took a little batting practice with Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista and the results were, well, mixed. But the highlight came when a foul ball was hit back toward Hart and he shrieked in terror.
