Serbian tennis star Ana Ivanovic arrived in Manila late Wednesday night while English superstar Andy Murray is already in his way to the Philippines for the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL).

Currently ranked fifth in the world, Ivanovic is a member of the Micromax Indian Aces alongside Roger Federer, Pete Sampras, and Gael Monfils. She was the number 1 ranked female tennis player in the world back in 2008.

Former Wimbledon Championship titleholder Murray also tweeted that he’s already on his way to the Philippines. He also asked Filipino fans for suggestions on places to visit in Manila.

He’ll represent the Manila Mavericks together with crowd darling Maria Sharapova, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Carlos Moya, Daniel Nestor, Kirsten Flipkens, and Pinoy pride Treat Huey.

Serena Williams, Andre Agassi, Tomas Berdych, Lleyton Hewitt, and Patrick Rafter are the representatives of the Singapore Slammers. The UAE Royals team boasts a roster comprised of world no. 1 Novak Djokovic, Caroline Wozniacki, Eugenie Bouchard, and Goran Ivanisevic.

The competitions will run from November 28 to 30 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
