Clermont's Rougerie doubtful for Saracens clash

Clermont captain Aurelien Rougerie is doubtful for the European Cup semi-final against Saracens at Twickenham on Saturday, a club source revealed on Thursday. Rougerie is struggling with a thigh injury and although he trained on Thursday, he did not appear fully fit. If he is ruled out, Clermont are likely to line up with Wesley Fofana and Benson Stanley in the centre, with versatile Fijian back Noa Nakaïtaci drafted into the travelling party. Back row forwards Damien Chouly (shoulder) and New Zealander Fritz Lee (knee) are also doubtful for the tie. But forwards Davit Zirakashvili, Jamie Cudmore and Lee Byrne along with wing Napolioni Nalaga, who missed last week's 22-6 defeat at Racing-Metro, are all set to return.
