Football: Schwarzer makes first Chelsea league start

Former Australia goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer was handed his Premier League debut for Chelsea against Sunderland on Saturday after Petr Cech came down with a virus. The 41-year-old, who retired from international football in November last year, joined Chelsea in July 2013 after being released by Fulham. He had previously only featured in cup competitions, with his last appearance coming in a 1-0 victory at home to Stoke City in the FA Cup fourth round on January 26.
