Formula Four: Schmuacher Jnr 12th in second race

Mick Schumacher Jnr finished 12th in his second Formula Four race on Sunday having enhanced the famous name by claiming the best rookie trophy on his debut the day before. The 16-year-old son of seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher finished 10.07secs behind winner Marvin Dienst, who also won Saturday's race over 18 laps at the Oschersleben track, near Hanover. Schumacher had started 19th on the grid for Sunday morning's race having started his fledgling Formula Four career this weekend. On Saturday, Schumacher won the best rookie title on his debut behind the Formula Four wheel when he finished ninth in the first of the weekend's three races despite starting 19th on the grid. After a successful karting career, Schumacher Jnr has signed for Dutch Van Amersfoort Racing team in Europe's ADAC Formula Four season, which runs until October. Schumacher Jnr has another chance to challenge in Sunday afternoon's third and final race at 3:20 pm (1320 GMT) which he will start on the grid's first row when the order from the morning's race is reversed. With Michael Schumacher still recovering from a serious head injury suffered during a ski-ing accident in December 2013, his father Rolf Schumacher was at the Oschersleben to watch his grandson race.
