Gilas wins second tune-up, this time versus NBA D-League selection
Gilas Pilipinas won their second tune-up game in Miami, this time besting a group of ballers from Elev8 Sports Institute, 93-84.
The 11-man roster was comprised of NBA D-League talents and players who could find themselves abroad as imports, coached by Cody Toppert, the Director of Basketball Development at Elev8.
An honor to coach against @coachot and we look forward to working with him in the future. @Elev8SI @GanonBaker

We’ll post the video when it’s up, but it’s important to note that this is apparently the closer to Gilas’ Miami training camp. According to a report by Spin.ph, the Philippine national team is now Europe-bound, with stops in Italy and France, before the FIBA World Cup in Spain at the end of August.
