University of Santo Tomas gunner Jeric Teng, who is reportedly set to have his right shoulder checked via magnetic resonance imaging after figuring in a collision with National U forward Jeoff Javillonar in their intense UAAP Season 76 men’s cage match-up won by the Bulldogs, 71-67, isn't letting the incident pass quietly.

Shortly after the game, Teng and his younger brother Jeron took to Twitter to express their disgust over what happened, and although they didn't mention Javillonar by name, the target was clear.

“I didn't see that coming! Your day will come trust me. God has his own ways. And I didn't know that's allowed in UAAP," tweeted Jeric.

“I know it's no accident. I've known him since RP youth days,” added the younger Teng, who played with Javillonar in the RP Youth U-16 team in 2009.

With the Growling Tigers employing a full-court pressure late in the second quarter, the 6-foot-2 Teng absorbed a strong shove from a streaking Javillonar, causing the UST stalwart to fall down hard to the floor, where he lay writhing in pain before team officials helped him get up.

Teng, who had seven points in 17 minutes of action in the first half, sat out the entire second half, with a towel serving as a temporarily sling to ease the pain on his right shoulder.

“Doon ako nasaktan sa pagkakatulak,” Teng blurted out after emerging from the team’s dugout.

According to a tweet posted by The Varsitarian, the school’s official publication, team physician Raul Palma stressed Teng “did not dislocate right shoulder but is in excruciating pain; extent of injury to be determined thru MRI.”

The 6-foot-2 Teng, who averaged 19 points in the team’s first two outings, will likely miss UST's game against the University of the East on Saturday, according to Palma.
