Former Germany international forward Kevin Kuranyi has said he wants to stay on at Russian Premier League club Dynamo Moscow, Russia's daily Soviet Sport reported. "I've repeatedly said that I want to extend my contract with Dynamo," the 32-year-old striker said. "Everything suits me fine here. Russia has became a major part of my life and my family's life as well. It's very important for me to stay here. "I spoke to the club manager Stanislav Cherchesov recently and he told me that he also wanted me to continue playing with Dynamo." Meanwhile, Dynamo's management have expressed their interest in retaining the services of the experienced forward, who has scored 52 goals in 138 matches for the Moscow club. Dynamo sporting director Guram Adzhoyev said that the club will offer Kuranyi a contract extension in the near future. "I've recently had a meeting with the agent of Kevin (Kuranyi) and we have discussed the conditions of his contract extension," ITAR-TASS news agency quoted Adzhoyev as saying. "He has become an integral team member at Dynamo since 2010, when he joined the club. And he's without doubt a very skilled and interesting footballer." The Brazilian-born striker, capped 52 times for Germany between 2003-08, also said that he was confident that Dynamo will make solid progress when the Russian Premiership resumes after the winter lay-off later this week and challenge for the league title. "We finished the first half of the Premiership season in third position with a game in hand," he said. "But we all want to perform even better after the restart to battle for the title. "We know it will be hard to compete with the league's current leaders Zenit and CSKA, but we're not afraid of them. "Dynamo haven't won anything for a long time and we're all really hungry for titles." Kuranyi also said that he has been learning Russian to improve communication with his teammates and coaches. "My wife is a true polyglot, she speaks fluently eight languages including Russian. She helps me in my Russian studies and I have already made some progress," he added.
