Larrazabal jumps in water trap to avoid hornets

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Spain's Pablo Larrazabal has been forced to dive into a water hazard to avoid attacking hornets during his second round in the Malaysian Open on Friday.

Larrazabal jumped fully clothed into the water adjacent to the 14th green but not before suffering a number of hornet stings which required treatment.

However he then resumed playing and was able to birdie the hole on his way to a round of 2-under 70 at Kuala Lumpur Country Club.

Antonio Lascuna of the Philippines holds the clubhouse lead after he shot a 65 move to a total of nine-under 135.
