It looks like a basketball match between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is more likely to happen compared to the boxing showdown the world is waiting for.

A few hours after Pacquiao scored his first point in the PBA, Mayweather posted his own basketball highlights on his Twitter account.

Pacquiao later on celebrated a huge victory for the KIA Carnival as they upset the Purefoods Star Hotshots but in typical Mayweather fashion, he did not allow himself to be outshone.

The social media bickering between Pacquiao and Mayweather momentarily stopped after the two met during an NBA game between the Heat and the Bucks in Miami. The two camps then had serious negotiations for a May 2 fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas but no official announcement has been made.

Pacquiao’s camp has been adamant in saying that they’ve agreed to everything Mayweather demanded. The Filipino also claims that Mayweather’s signature is the only thing missing for the fight to finally push through.
