Muhammad Ali asks Floyd Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao
The Greatest has spoken.
Muhammad Ali wants Floyd Mayweather to fight Manny Pacquiao next. The living legend tweeted his thoughts immediately after Mayweather won a majority decision victory over Marcos Maidana at the MGM Grand Arena is Las Vegas, Nevada.
Congratulations @FloydMayweather. Maybe after you rest up we can see you rumble with @MannyPacquiao! #AliTweet

During his time, Ali fought all comers. It was a time when the best of the boxing world always ended up in the same ring, sometimes even multiple times, against each other. However, in boxing's current situation, match-ups are dictated mostly by money, championships, and personal relationships instead of simply trying to find out who the better fighter is.
The boxing world has waited for Mayweather-Pacquiao to happen for so long and now it seems like Ali is also tired of waiting.
Other analysts however also thought that Maidana deserved a rematch for his effort against Mayweather or that Maidana should fight Pacquiao instead.
Rematch with Maidana, yes. Fight with Pacquiao, yes. #TheMoment

@neildecapia -- Yes, Pacquiao-Maidana would be fun.

Showtime's commentary team tried their best to avoid even mentioning Pacquiao's name after the fight. They kept throwing a rematch with Maidana or a possible match with Amir Khan for Mayweather's next fight. However, Mayweather's win still led to discussions of a match against Pacquiao.
It's funny just how many fans still want to see Pacquiao-Mayweather. Definitely has lessened, but strong support for it is still there.

Now Floyd's calling for a rematch. Maidana says Floyd didn't fight like a man and says he won. NOW FLOYD CAN DUCK PACQUIAO EVEN LONGER.

FLOYD KNOWS HE COULDN'T BEAT PACQUIAO RIGHT NOW.
