NBA: Trail Blazers spoil Westbrook's triple double

Russell Westbrook recorded his third straight triple double but it wasn't enough to beat Portland as the Trail Blazers defeated Oklahoma City 115-112 Friday night. Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge each tallied 29 points for Portland, who were coming off a win over San Antonio on Wednesday. Aldridge also grabbed a game-high 16 rebounds and Arron Afflalo added 18 points off the bench. Red hot Westbrook continued his superb play, recording his third straight triple-double and fifth of the NBA season. He finished with 40 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists and became the first player since LeBron James in 2009 to notch three consecutive triple-doubles. Mitch McGary scored a career-high 20 points with nine rebounds and Serge Ibaka added 14 points in Oklahoma City's second straight loss.
