PBA legend Samboy Lim rushed to hospital after losing consciousness
PBA legend Samboy “The Skywalker” Lim is now confined at the Medical City after reportedly collapsing during a legends basketball match at the Ynares Arena in Pasig City.
Lim played a few minutes in the contest but complained of numbness on his arm. He fell out of consciousness which prompted some of his fellow legends to rush him to the nearest hospital.
He was bestowed the moniker Skywalker because of his high-flying attacks to the rim. He was a multiple-time PBA All Star and a two-time member of the PBA Mythical Second Team. Lim was inducted to the PBA Hall of Fame.
Lim rose to popularity alongside Allan Caidic, Hector Calma, and the rest of the San Miguel Beermen. Recently, Lim has been busy playing in legends games and organizing his basketball camps.
Soon after the news broke, tweets of support from the Philippine basketball family poured out for Lim.
