Radwanska gives Poland 2-1 Fed Cup lead vs Spain
BARCELONA, Spain (AP) — Agnieszka Radwanska beat Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor 6-3, 6-2 to give Poland a 2-1 lead over Spain in their Fed Cup World Group playoff on Sunday.
The third-ranked Radwanska broke Torro-Flor seven times to win her second singles rubber in two days on the outdoor red clay of Barcelona's Estadio Olimpico.
Torro-Flor had rallied from a set down to beat Agnieszka Radwanska's sister, Urszula, on Saturday.
Later, Urszula Radwanska will play Silvia Soler-Espinosa in the other reverse singles rubber before the doubles match.
