Rubin win Russian Super Cup

Two-time Russian champions Rubin Kazan, last season's cup winners, won their second national Super Cup beating reigning champions Zenit St Petersburg 2-0 at Samara on Saturday.

Rubin, Russian 2010 Super Cup winners, looked more confident from the start and their Italian defender Salvatore Bocchetti gave them the lead in the 20th minute heading home Roman Eremenko's corner.

Forward Vladimir Dyadyun made it 2-0 for Rubin in the 38th minute firing the ball into the net from fellow midfielder Alexander Ryazantsev's cross to secure Kazan's win.
