Social media reactions to Mayweather-Pacquiao meeting
A short conversation that could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
WBC champion Floyd Mayweather and WBO champion Manny Pacquiao had a chance encounter in Miami as both watched a game between the Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks.
Struggling to find a flight to Los Angeles due to the many cancelations caused by the weather, Pacquiao decided to catch an NBA game in Miami.
The two had a short talk during halftime, which led to a lot of chatter among sports fans on social media.
Mayweather is set to announce his opponent later this week with many saying that Miguel Cotto is the front-runner. However, the short meeting with Pacquiao and the fact that the two exchanged numbers are keeping the hopes for the mega-fight alive.
